Anyone out there that did a swap to a Red Top beams VVT-i can tell me if it takes Regular gas or Premium?

I have used 87 for a few a while now. The comp will re-tune to the new octane. I get no ping or knock. I do notice a small lag when I punch the gas. Other than that, I notice not much difference in octane.

yup i made the mistake of filling with 87, no problems, but i liked it better with premium
