How many miles on the motor? would like to know more about it. Looking for kind of a low mileage 7a for a rebuild and swap. How far over was it bored to get it to 2.0l? And 804 area code is virgina? I would say the motor has about 160k+ and I bought the car with it being bored over to 2.0. It was an original 1.8L factory dohc motor. I still have the cams, timing belt, bottom complete block with flywheel attached. No valve cover though(thats sold) and the oil pan is tabbed for a turbo. When I got the car it needed a head gasket, motor ran but ran choppy due to needing head gasket. It started a few times so I know the engine ran. I put a new headgasket on the motor, but stopped torqueing the head down at 22ft pounds and didn't do the 90degree turn and it didn't seal the headgasket. It needs that to be completed if you wanna keep the head on it to make it run. Intake and exhaust manifold is gone. Its the head and block. Have fuel rail and random misc parts. Yes 804 is Virginia. My zip is 23061, so google your distance from me. I work mon-thursday 5;30pm-4am so if you want to check it out anytime that works for me, let me know. My cell is 804 815 6957, we can text about it. |
