guys just wondering if theres anything i can do to regulate my a/f mixture when the car is still cold. im getting readings of 10-10.5 a/f ratio when its cold. its like this until it warms up. when nits nice and warm, my ratios are good, 14.7 at idle.
i know when the car is cold it takes the reading from the o2 sensor to manage the fuel and when its warm it uses the map sensor. so is there a way to trick the car into always using the map readings instead???? im using 460 injectors, stock fpr, and SAFC2 thanks! With just the SAFC, your not gonna be able to tune that out.
the closest thing to do is like art said, set your lo-throttle map set-points to low rpms for the first 2-3 set points, like 850rpm, 1200rpm, and 2000rpm, then pull out fuel at those points, and keep an eye one the a/f once the car is fully warm to be sure it isnt too lean. whats happening, is your o2 sensor isnt being used by the ecu while the car is warming up for fuel corrections in closed loop, and once the car is warm, the o2 sensor takes over, and the ecu uses that to correct the fuel trim in closed loop. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
