guys just wondering if theres anything i can do to regulate my a/f mixture when the car is still cold. im getting readings of 10-10.5 a/f ratio when its cold. its like this until it warms up. when nits nice and warm, my ratios are good, 14.7 at idle.
i know when the car is cold it takes the reading from the o2 sensor to manage the fuel and when its warm it uses the map sensor. so is there a way to trick the car into always using the map readings instead???? im using 460 injectors, stock fpr, and SAFC2 thanks! thanks for all the replies guys, well not its not that bad since the climate is warming up here in california the car warms up faster now. it sits between 11 and 12 now at idle for a few minutes and then back up to 14.7
question for presure2 or anyone that has tuned a turbo 5s using a safc i got my throttle points to 30 for low and 50 for high when im cruising in low throttle my afr is between 12.5 and 13.5, when im at WOT its about 11.3-11.5 but in mid throttle when im like 40% throttle my turbo starts spooling around 2900 rmp and my afr shows 14.2-13.2 when boost is between (1-4 psi) is that bad to be lean at early boost? i tried adding fuel around the early 3k rpm's in both maps but it doesnt change much.... i got a boost spike of 10psi at around 3,900 rpm but my afr here is 11.5,but i hold 8psi till redline, also between (5-8psi) my afr stays between 11.3-11.5 im just worried about that mid throttle/early boost...........i cant seem to work out that bug out with the safc2 so once again is it bad to be lean in early boost?? |
