Anyone ever install one of those bazooka bass tubes in their celica ?
I want something that will give me some low end without taking up too much trunk space. The bazooka tube seems like it would work well for that. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

Rear speakers matter. If only the front is upgraded, assuming that the replacement speaker is of better quality than OEM, your sound will likely be hollow and not as full as it could possibly be. Best to replace all four.
From my experience, make a budget for a component and go with the best of what you can afford. I take sh!ts more powerful than that Dual sub, I will bet my never-emerging firstborn that it will sound like complete nothing. Invest in quality, it pays back in terms of enjoyment. And I'm cheap. What is important is quality cone construction, durability, and lastly, everything must be powered correctly. Dual is a cheap, cheap brand; I have had two of their amps and while they never failed on me, it was apparent that you got what you paid for. That setup that you're looking at is dirt cheap, but it seems better to me to put that money towards a quality sub. You can have a 10" for half of that, then invest the rest in a box and amp. A 10" sub won't take up more than 15x15, will run a bit more expensive but you'll have a setup that can run reliably for years, and sound better doing it, than that Dual thing ever will. Here you go: http://www.amazon.com/Infinity-Reference-1...e/dp/B0028APNZ2 So, having thrown that into the mix, I'll go ahead and say that my 1262w, meaning two more inches of pounding surface, was only eight dollars more.
