Hey, anyone ever tried removing the ball joint from superstrut parts and just replacing with another ball joint of same size??

Dont know which joint you are talking about, but its possible. I once replaced the upper balljoint on my actual strut (the one that holds the steering knuckle up) and it was as easy as having a shop press out the old one, and press in the new one.
