Every now and than, (alot more frequent lately), whenever i lock my car, the alarm will go off.
It doesn't happen every time, and i don't notice myself doing anything different in the times that it does. Its the standard alarm, with the factory key-fob. Any ideas on what the problem is, how i can fix it, or stop it? It gets a little embarassing with it going off all the time in shopping centers. -------------------- |

Is is the alarm (like when you push and hold the lock/unlock button for like 5 sec)? or that annoying beeping that goes off if you have a door open and try to lock it?
I know with my passenger door, it takes about 20 sec to register as being shut so if i try to lock the car before then it just beeps for 20 sec then it stops when it registers that the door is shut. |
