Ok someone please help me I'm at a loss here. Pretty much every time I start my car it makes a rattling noise, also when I get up to about 3000rpm it makes the same noise until I shift or left off the gas and let the R's go down a bit. Anyone else have or had this problem and know what it might be? I pulled the valve cover to see if my valves are adjustable...they are not. I have the 1.8L 7AFE motor. Please anything would be appreciated. I have to get this motor to last at leaset until tax time so I can get my 3SGTE...

How good are you with cars? Its alot of work to strip down a motor in the car. Easier to pull it out

If I have to pull the motor then so be it. I have a friend with a cherry picker so it's not a big deal. Plus it's not like I don't have a grip load of guys who are all gona be spectating anyways. I already have one guy who is going to help me do whatever I need to do, he just points and tells me what to do next so that way I can learn this stuff...I had a basic idea now it's the getting dirty, greasy and sweaty I have to look forward to lol I'm excited ^_^ |
