I went out of town 150 miles away from home, I took the celica cause it was running fine and now it wont start. This no start thing is frustrating the hell out of me to no end. 94 gt manual transmission, has a new distributor, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, igniter, new walbro fuel pump, new fuel filter. I need help, I came down here for work and now now I cant go to work for my last day here and I cant get home either, please someone help me.

Remove the air intake hose from the throttlebody. Have a friend start the car while you simultaneously spray starter fluid into the intake. This is the only way to verify you have a fuel problem unless you have a fuel pressure tester and noid light set available.
The ECU takes over the ignition system from the ignitor above 400rpm, just a thought. A bad coil or bad ignitor will function correctly until they heat up, which is usually a matter of seconds after the car is started, just a thought. Never ever buy a replacement part unless you can test and verify the part is faulty. If you can get the gas smell off of the FPR you could probably return it citing the fact that "it doesnt fit" |
