This is not something i want to do but due to my situation....my wife has to use my dd corolla to work because it is the reliable of the two cars we have here. Her car is a 1984 honda civic which has become a money pit and i do not wish put anymore money into it really. Currently the civic is up for sale but don't believe i can get enough money to get a decent car. Which is why im contemplating selling my project celica. Hell, the other day someone came to see the civic and found himself more interested in my celica. I need advice from my fellow brothers here in 6gc.net

Corolla gets the same gas mileage as my 7A-FE Celica, and I don't do sedans. (Yes, I'm mental) I'm looking more at the likes of a Del Sol at least, and if I could find a Civic VX I'd be set.
If you're getting a MKIII Supra go manual. 90-92 manual base Supra weighed 3,463 and the auto added another 100 pounds or so. So almost a 3,600 pound car pushed by 200hp through a slush box. 90-92 manual Turbo weighed 3,534 and had 232hp. I found another weight of 3,389 for the manual base model, but I'm guessing that'd be for the 86.5-89 since in 1990 they added an airbag and everything that goes along with that. Personally I wouldn't get another unless it was a manual turbo. Considering the base and turbo get the same gas mileage, kind of silly not to. I'm kind of biased toward the MKIII Supra, was my first car so I'm terribly nostalgic for another one. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed
