I went out of town 150 miles away from home, I took the celica cause it was running fine and now it wont start. This no start thing is frustrating the hell out of me to no end. 94 gt manual transmission, has a new distributor, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, igniter, new walbro fuel pump, new fuel filter. I need help, I came down here for work and now now I cant go to work for my last day here and I cant get home either, please someone help me.
correction** it will fire up and die right away. and my idle air control valve is functioning properly This post has been edited by gotian: Aug 10, 2012 - 11:26 AM |

okay so i put 5 gallons into the gas tank, primed the pump and started it, nothing its still doing the same issue. i have half a tank now. it will run with starter fluid as i said before. so how do i wire the walbro to a constant 12v in the celica i've never had to do that before except in my rx7.

The local autoparts store should have a fuel pressure tester for rental. I usually go to autozone, its something like a $200 deposit, which of course you get a 100% refund when you bring it back. They also have a Noid set for $20 or $50 I cant remember, which you plug into the injector wire to see if they are firing. Two very good tests although we can be 90% sure its the fuel pump. |
