need help emergency car wont start video uploaded |

I went out of town 150 miles away from home, I took the celica cause it was running fine and now it wont start. This no start thing is frustrating the hell out of me to no end. 94 gt manual transmission, has a new distributor, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, igniter, new walbro fuel pump, new fuel filter. I need help, I came down here for work and now now I cant go to work for my last day here and I cant get home either, please someone help me.

His starts and runs, but only for a few seconds.
The ECU uses a signal from the camshaft position sensor inside the distributor to time the spark for the ignition system and to fire the injectors Its all explained here, plus alot of other good information http://www.autoshop101.com/forms/h25.pdf On page 8 it explains the part we are specifically talking about, and explains about losing NE signal while running in the chart. You can check for NE signal at the Diagnostic port. Place one end of a multimeter onto a suitable ground and the other lead onto the NE connection. Set your multimeter to check for continuity(it should beep every time you touch the leads together in this setting). Now crank the engine and see if the NE signal is working. |
