I bought my celica with some nasty purple bubbled tint and i have removed the tint from the front winsheild, and driver and passenger doors by myself using a razor blade, steel wool, and windex. I still have to do the back glass and the rear window. However i was talking to a guy who knows about tinit and he said that i couldnt remove the back glass without messing up tthe heater lines. Should i attempt? Most tint places want over $100 to do just the back glass. I think i can do it if i am carefull, i mean what can a professional do that i could possibly not?

spray some Amonia on the window and then cover it with black plastic and let it heat up in the sun. The amonia will make the tint come off quite easily. Have you noticed that the top auto window cleaners say that its amonia free?.. its because tint doesnt like amonia too much.
