Hey guys, I'm about to buy 94' ST205, brought to us from England, but I can't understand a damn thing under the hood So I'll put a pictures of the stickers under the hood in hope that anyone from you guys will help me to find out if this car is originally from England or is it from Japan, imported to England and then to our country. I'm defenetly buying the car, just I just want to know which car am I buying, is it Japan production or Europe production. Thank you very much for any informations, first pictures of the car will follow soon!!

A few things to check...IIRC
Jap had a different air conditioning control unit....the UK one is very basic The rear diff of UK cars has a plastic diff airflow thingy (cant remember if that was just WRCs) UK cars have a bigger gearbox oil cooler Jap cars have really weak seat belt tensioners UK cars have a long thin rear number plate surround, the jap ones have the taller narrower type but these can be easily changed and often are. The vin plate should be the give away That sticker on the second photo would make me think its a Jap car imported to the UK (most are) If its a jap car imported to the UK, theres bound to be a japanese coin under the carpet somewhere. Although technically they were all made in Japan :-) -------------------- |

UK cars have a bigger gearbox oil cooler whats the fitting so i can replace the oil cooler and lines, is it all BSPT or is it banjo on the gearbox (would be easier) seems like i need a bigger one i want to go AN dash fittings with a larger gearbox oil cooler -------------------- Mike W
