was excited to put it on and didn't wanna drill it until I got some body prepping materials ready so I just took off my 3post and cleaned the hatch as good as I could.
then used the little covers for the door cards to pop on top of the holes to cover it for now since I had a few extras. then some tape on the inside just to be safe. and then I just used the one bolt on each side that matched up with the 2 post and bolted it on. the hatch already has a spot you can see where the other hole would need to be drilled so I don't think it would be too difficult but for now, I'm rolling ghetto style. took it on the highway a few times and it held up fine. no shaking, no rattle, no flying off my car and killing a nice family on the road so it's good for now. ![]() This post has been edited by cheela: Aug 24, 2012 - 9:29 PM -------------------- ![]() *1997 Celica ST - 3SGE Greytop BEAMS *1977 Celica RA29 - Classic Cruiser *2005 Matrix AWD - dedded but still hanging around like a ghost 2019 Rav4 XLE Premium - Sports mode is fun. |
