I bought the car two weeks ago. It was previously wrecked
after i got it home, i took the front bumper off and saw that the driver side hood support bar was pushed back and the high beam light was broke onto and was pushed back so far that it punctured the battery, which had a hole in it. then i took the windshield off and the hood. I tore apart everything in a day. Took the dash off replaced the air bags, and then put the dash back. vaccumed the interior as good as i could. Shaved off the spoiler, debaged the emblems bought a new front bumper and i took my other hood off my other silver celica. got it inspected, i wanted to keep the original rims, but i had some spare rims with brand new 17 inch tires on them. so today im going to buy the scion tc rims for 200 and pt my good kuhmo's on them. This is like my 4th celica ive owned, and it is amazing. the throttle response is amazing, the steering wheel is very stiff. I'm not sure if it is the stock steering wheel but it is the 7th gen 3 spoke spoiler. It has cruise contorl but the wires cut so i need to solder it back on. has leather seats. best leather seats ive ever seen the back rear are not splitting on the top like usual wear and tear. doesn't shake when it sits at a red light, very quiet, i thought it died the other day at a red light. and doesnt burn oil, i assume that because the previous owner bought it from a dealership, they might have fixed the leak. Plans for the car: Paint the bumper, hood and maybe hatch. put the 17 scion tc rims on. maybe lower it an inch or so. shave the antenna off, dunno what else but i love it |
