I've checked the sticky for this topic, but I don't think I can find my answer.

Problem: The wires of the harness are not the same as any of the write-ups. My harness has almost two of the same color with silver dashes on the wires. It is only one clip harness that has number 1-15 on them. There are no others, although the CD player itself has another harness port on it, it is not hooked up..dunno what thats for anyway.

Anyone have a link to guide me on the wiring?

Also, last night when I was just testing the power on my new one through the old harness wiring, I think I burnt something...I checked my fuses but nothings. Do you think it's the amp that's right below it? Is there a fuse in that amp as well? The reason I ask is because now my radio (the oem one) went from ON to faded out--doesn't work anymore; no power to the radio....

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Yea, I'm trying to swap the stock for a BOSS 8975B in-dash DVD.

Here's the pic.

I bought it off a guy for $50 as he was too lazy to return it to Amazon.
Never been used and was purchased in 12/2011....

It didn't say any compatability with Celica or any Toyotas, but that is because it won't fit in the panel--I will have to cut the opening so it will fit.
The wiring shouldn't be a problem, but I have to check whether it needs an amp to power it. I think I already fried my amp b/c it smelled burnt after I did something, which then caused the OEM (when pluggin back in) to gradually lose power and then not turn on anymore..haha.

This picture really helps to see what is what on my cables!
