For sale I have Carbon Fiber Hood and Hatch
Both are in mint condition. Price is $1000 firm for both. I live in the Poughkeepsie, NY area and due to the type of items they are pick up only. **EDIT** price dropped to $700 for both. See my post from 1/25 for further. EDIT...I PREFER TO SELL BOTH ITEMS TOGETHER AS THEY ARE FROM SAME COMPANY AND WOULD BE EASIER....HOWEVER IF I FIND TO SEPARATE PEOPLE FOR EACH ITEM AT SAME TIME I WILL SELL SEPARATELY This post has been edited by TRD6GC: Jan 25, 2013 - 6:44 PM |

Any idea how much less they weigh? I bet they lower the CG of the car significantly, especially the hatch. Maybe get a sheet of Lexan instead of glass. Anyways Im about to go slam me face against a wall repeatedly since I dont have the money for these ATM

Anyways Im about to go slam me face against a wall repeatedly since I dont have the money for these ATM lexan is not legal on the streets and it scratches easily from what I hear. 80% of the weight from the hatchback comes from the glass. If you were to replace the rear hatchback glass with lexan, there would be no point in getting this carbon fiber hatch. I'd suggest you get he 3 point rear strut bar if your going to get a lexan rear hatch window. glass absorbs the rigidity of the chassis -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts
