Ok guys I wana know if the 3sgte out of an MR2 is a direct bolt in to my 97 Celica ST. Please help. I've been told so many different things.

No.
You'll also need a transmission. 3S-GTE will bolt in to a GT Celica with the 5S-FE engine and the S54 5-speed trans on the GT Celicas is compatible with the 3S-GTE. -------------------- 1993 Celica GT Coupe - sold

GT-4 celicas have a 3rd gen 3S-GTE while most MR2s have a 2nd gen 3S-GTE. If you can find a post-93 MR2, it will probably have the 3rd gen 3S-GTE. -------------------- 1993 Celica GT Coupe - sold
