Would anyone know where to find a transmission for a ST165 Celica Alltrac? I've looked on ebay by typing in "ST165 Celica Transmission" and nothing comes up. There's someone selling one near me because either the transmission or clutch is bad, and it's fairly cheap too. If any of you could point me in the right direction to helping me find some websites for parts, I would appreciate it. I do still have to go take a look at the car and actually see / figure out what is wrong with it.

E154F is only the ST205 trans.
You can also use the E150F, which came in the ST165 and the non homologation ST185. There are differences between the versions [ST165, early ST185 and late ST185] and the E151F which came in the homologation ST185. Any of the 3 will bolt right in, all external stuff is interchangeable, the only "work" you'll have to do is if you have a non US trans you'll need to pull the electronic speed sensor out and slide your mechanical speed sensor in. *The better synchros came in the late E150F, E151F and E154F. There are minor gearing differences [except the E151F, that's very different] between the versions. There is also a Group A E150F or E151F, not sure which. Either way it's got very close 1-4 gears. Even more rare than the E151F.* Let me know if you need any more advice, I'm actually pretty close to you. This post has been edited by alltracman78: Sep 21, 2012 - 10:48 PM -------------------- |
