I received the TRD Rear Splits about a week ago and I tried installing them. I noticed that it's a bit too long? Like it doesn't sit flush? It makes me wander if the hatchback models had a longer rear end? I have a liftback model. Does anyone have any idea why it's like that? The parts are genuine btw.

Measuring the inside, my liftback splitters came out to be around 19". Pictures just to show my points of measurement.

Measuring the inside, my liftback splitters came out to be around 19". Pictures just to show my points of measurement. Mines actually came out the same too. I think it's probably because they weren't fully mounted when I put them on. I know for sure I'm going to have to drill holes onto the rear bumber for the back part of the splitters. That might help it sit flush more. I guess I'll have to wait til I get them painted and fully mounted to determine if they do fit or not. Well thanks for the info though. At least I know it SHOULD fit. -------------------- |
