morning everyone i have a bad leak and its come to my attention from mostly the oil pump seal area so i know digging in there is not going to be fun or easy but i was wondering should i change the timing belt and water pump if im going to change that seal since its on the way or basically right there. what parts should i buy from i want reliable parts and oem is expensive but thats what i usually get anyway. so i need to know if anyone has advice and also links to guides on how to change everything properly should i change any other seals near that area example cam seals or anything like that also tensioners and the other belts im going to change. its a 1999 celica gt with a 5sfe 2.2l 97k miles and im not 100% sure if the previous owner has done the timing belt and water pump change yet.

If it only has 97k, I doubt if the previous owner did them. If it was me, I would change the belt and two pump as well as all corresponding seals. The fewer times you have to take the engine apart, the better.
