Hey,

Has anyone got any information about the 6th gens produced in 1993? From looking around it appears they all have 3sge (making them SS-IIs) but I just want to be sure of this... i've found a cheap 1993 which i'm interested in which hopefully has a GE not an FE smile.gif

Thanks!

The model year switchover occurs on September 1 of the preceeding year -- I have a 1990 Celica which as far as I can tell was among the first 500 fifth-gen Celicas produced. It was produced in early September 1989.

Someone could easily have a Celica which was produced and purchased in 1993 which is a 1994 model year.
