Hi all,
I am looking for a lightened flywheel application for my 1997 celica ST 1.8L 7AFE I have to replace the clutch so I would like to upgrade the whole thing can anyone confirm which flywheels fit please thanks |

you are right I just figured if i have to pull down the whole trans. I might as well upgrade the flywheel as well as the clutch.

If I remember what Smaay said from some past thread, the clutch and pressure plates for the 1zz and 2zz will work with the stock 7afe flywheel - which is to say, everything lines up for mounting the pressure plate to the flywheel. I assume he also meant that the clutch disc itself mounts perfectly onto your C52 transmission's input shaft (appropriate diameter and number of splines) but I would DEFINITELY clarify that last bit before ending up with something which may be the wrong size. ![]() -------------------- 1989 Celica ST Automatic "King Cobra" -- 2005-2006
