 Engine Oil?, What engine oil does everyone use? |

I was just curious what engine oil does everyone on here use? I use a Castrol synthetic blend 10w30 in both of my Celica GTs and I live in east Texas.

Whatever synthetic blend is on sale. But Always Always use a oem toyota oil filter or a K&N, you must have the antidrainback valve on the 5SFE.
I put royal purple synthetic in my 94 GT with 115k and it blew out 3 major gaskets within a week. Of course the previous owner just reused the old oil and filter everytime they changed it.  5w-30 in the winter and 10w-40 in the summer This post has been edited by Special_Edy: Oct 22, 2012 - 1:03 PM |
