Was wondering if anyone has experience with spray on this little engine and if so i'd like to hear from said people.
Other than that the pill will go no larger than a 50, and i do have experience with nitrous (Just not this engine) so im not hungry hungry hippo crazy with it. I will most likely run a wet single setup (No direct port for such a simple plan), but im open to opinions on how said shot will act if it's a dry setup aswell. Example......will the IAT on these engine's make the ecu compensate enough fuel for the dry shot due to cooler intake temp's etc etc. I'm not looking for build/swap opinions or any of that. Just people experience with both wet and dry on this engine. I see no reason why it couldn't handle a properly fuel jetted small shot every now and again. Thank's in advance! Also car has I/H/E if that is a concern to any and engine is healthy at this time. Installing either kit is not an issue. The only concern with dry was if the ecu will compensate enough fuel for the 50 due to lower intake temp's. I have been reading a few 7afe build related threads and it seems even with no cooler temp's these engine's like to run rich at WOT even on the stock map. The reason i am debating is if the ecu would compensate then it would be a even fuel delivery no risk of running lean and causing detonation. Although i do plan on taping the nozzle location as close as possible VIA throttle body with either.
As said in my OP wet is my first choice, but if i can get a even amount of extra fuel on all cylinders with compensation from the ecu, sensors and injectors on a dry as talked about abit above that would be ideal, but this is a MAP car so wet is pretty much the obvious. Just tossing around idea's nothing besides no direct port is set in stone. I can work on this engine np it's simple i just need to understand it a bit more in depth. Thanks for the replies so far fella's. This post has been edited by Takumi-FujiWaraST: Oct 30, 2012 - 4:56 PM -------------------- Cleaning and improving my new found yoter little by little. |
