Do anyone know if the rear control arms from a GT-S fit on a GT?
I don't have the part numbers online to give to you guys, but on CS Toyota Parts it says we can order the GT-S parts in the US. One of mine is slightly bent and I'm wondering if I can swap it out for the GTS one. Any input is appreciated. This post has been edited by mkernz22: Nov 11, 2012 - 10:09 PM |

May I suggest it's helpful to mention which generation you're asking about, if it's not the sixth-gen? I had a reply typed out until I clicked on your link and realized you were talking about a 2005 (there was a sixth-gen GTS).
If I correctly understand what parts you're asking about, the part numbers the arms are the same, used on ZZT23* -- referred to by Toyota as rear suspension arms. Toyodiy.com is the easiest way to find part numbers online, though you can also contact Lithia Toyota through their sub-forum on Celicatech with questions -- Aaron and Tracey offer excellent service. 48710A ARM ASSY, REAR SUSPENSION, NO.1 RH 48710‑20361 ZZT23* 1 $287.04 48720A ARM ASSY, REAR SUSPENSION, NO.1 LH 48720‑20111 ZZT23* 1 $287.04 Those are the list prices. Run the part number through the online part stores operated by Lithia Toyota or Titus-Will Toyota and you'll get a much better price. Lithia's parts number lookup will also give you a diagram of the associated area, in case I've got the wrong part. Your cheapest option might be to hit up a junkyard. These aren't parts which typically wear out, so as long as there's no damage they should be as good as new. Try car-part.com, it's a searchable portal to an inventory software used by auto recyclers across North America. This post has been edited by Galcobar: Nov 12, 2012 - 1:29 AM |
