 Front Speakers Don't Work!, Need some advice. |

I have the 8 speaker sound system in my 95 gt convert and my front bottom speakers do not work but the other 6 do. Anybody have any experience with this system or problem?

^The preamp inside your new HU is most likely more powerful than the stock one, but it is not powerful enough nor is it set up to handle the extra speakers. Thus the reason JBL designed for those lower speakers to be powered by a separate amp.
If you don't want to use the factory amps, then your best option is to just get a decent low power aftermarket amp to power those lower door speakers. Like the JBL GT5-A402 2-channel amp. -------------------- 99 Celica GT-S
