Do anyone know if the rear control arms from a GT-S fit on a GT?
I don't have the part numbers online to give to you guys, but on CS Toyota Parts it says we can order the GT-S parts in the US. One of mine is slightly bent and I'm wondering if I can swap it out for the GTS one. Any input is appreciated. This post has been edited by mkernz22: Nov 11, 2012 - 10:09 PM |

No, I'm talking about the 6th Gen, hence why I said "it says we can order the GT-S parts in the US."
But as for you, not living in the US, you probably wouldn't know that we never received the GT-S model for the 6th Gen. Sorry about that. It's all 6th Gen related, the 7th Gen may fit, but I'd like to keep it 6th. I'm really just revamping the whole car this upcoming summer so I'm debating whether or not do to these since the have a lot of surface rust. Probably just a good sanding and painting would do, but I need to get that bent one fixed. (It's been like that since I bought the car.) |

I was aware that the GTS didn't exist in the US for the sixth-gen. Essentially, the GT with Sport Suspension was the Canadian GTS. My advice stands. Check toyodiy.com for part numbers. Contact Aaron or Tracey from Lithia to confirm part number, price and availability. Or hit up a junkyard -- they're substantially cheaper. If you are talking about a sixth-gen, then you must be referring to the rear suspension arms, which run in pairs laterally from the suspension member out to the rear wheels. The forward of each pair is the No. 1 suspension arm, and the rearward is the No. 2 arm, which also holds a threaded toe adjuster. |
