Hi ,
I have had a fault on my brakes for some time , the ABS cuts in at low braking speeds. I have changed the discs & pads & bled the brakes and just passed the test ( I thought it would fail ) The ABS light goes out as it should and I have tried to get the codes but no luck, I removed the short pin and connected E1 toTC the first time the light went out and then flashed twice then a space of 2 or 3 seconds then twice again and it kept doing this no other break. I then thought to clear any error codes so pumped the brake 8 or 10 times with the ignition on ( not running ) tried again and got ABS light going out then a continuous pulse every second or so. Is there a code when everything is OK ? Help anyone. Thanks Trevor |

p.s. found this whilst researching
If the ABS light blinks at a constant rate of two times per second, there are no fault codes stored in memory. That doesn’t necessarily mean everything is OK because something may be having an adverse affect on the operation of the ABS system. This includes low battery voltage, a "dirty" wheel speed sensor that is not giving a reliable reading or a hydraulic problem in the modulator assembly (See. Fig. 4). |
