I was surfing through the net about the 5sfe because I was bored and I noticed that there were two different blocks made for the 5sfe? It seems like the Camry came with the short blocks and our celica and mr2 came with the long block? What's the difference? More power with the long block is what I'm guessing?

The difference is simply what's being sold with the engine. A short block is typically just a block with pistons, rods, and a crank. A long block includes the head(s) and maybe a little bit more.
