Yes. The first picture is my S54 with an open diff, the second picture is my S54 with LSD.
![]() ![]() With 90,000 miles on the transmission, I'd be worried about the health of that LSD. Helical LSD's wear out and start acting like an open diff between 60-90,000 miles. Sticking it with your 3S may be just a minor upgrade without refreshing the differential. Luckily, you'll be opening up the trans to replace the syncros anyway.
