I know that most of you on here would say to get eibachs or trd springs, but im not as interested in performance as I am in the look for now, so is there any reason that cutting my stock springs would be bad for my car or dangerous if done correctly? I know it sucks on civics, but from what i've heard and read its not too bad on Celicas. Has anyone done this? This is kind of a newb question, but I'm not an expert on suspension, so thanx in advance for the advice.

I'm not doin it, but just out of curiosity, how does it ruin the shocks and struts any more than getting new springs would. Also..I thought it would ride smoother than the aftermarket springs, since they are more compressed than stock. Can anyone explain this to me.
