Looking for advice on getting to 500whp. Made 412whp 24lbs boost this year, my setup is capable to get to it. Correct me if Im wrong, I think due to me running a 1.8mm thick head gasket, and having to run higher boost, its limits my peakpower. I order 1.5mm, then they told me it was out of stock, I needed to finish my build, so I went with What they got. After tuning it, I send my run file to Koracing, he said, that my tune was not complete. It was set up for safe tune. My set up. 3rd gen3sgte. Forge bottom end, upgraded vave and springs, 264 BC cams
Ems. Hydra Nemise. Turbo. Precsion 50trim 63ar hot side, Injector. 1200cc. E85 fuel. Any advice from anyone who made it to 500whp would be nice. I went with this setup. I want a streetable car with good response and still have good top end power. Thanks everyone |

Sup bro. nice to see someone making decent amount of power with a 6th gen celica, i was making around 400 with my set up but a bit more tq. my limit was the turbo, i would suggest uping the turbo a bit either psi or going bigger over all (i would suggest what smaay said GT35R...and 272 cams)
your feel a bit more lagg but the power will come at the end ..with a forge bottom end you should be handling bigger power like no tomorrow, trutly i would suggest just to pick up a gt35r and keep at that, lagg is what kills street runs or track runs, dyno numbers are nice but those are just numbers and will not improve handling or traction i would love to get back into 6th gens but i trutly think that, that car was made to be RWD, after hoping into RWD and AWD cars i cant push myself to try and work on a FWD anymore and make big power. btw we should meet up i still have some stuff left over from when i was building my set up, and hanging out is always nice with a few cold ones on the hand.
