Make sure you have all the parts you need before starting the swap, Especially on a Friday afternoon after the dealer closes. Anyway, I ordered my parts from TAP. Very nice people to work with. I received all the parts, except the GT brake line. I went to every single auto parts store and no one carries the part in stock. So I went to the dealer to order it, adn it was 130 for both sides. I decided to talk to my Mech to try to get a discount some place. Turns out Theres this brake specialist by me that makes steel braided brake lines for every kind of car, truck, airplane, semi. I have new steel racing lines in 1 hour. 60 bucks. Amazing. Fits great.
On a side note, The parts I received from tap were off a 92 celica. Well thats what was written on the calipers, so Im guessing thins means that 5th gen rear brakes will work fine. They bolt up great and I had no problems with the parts. Jeremy BTW 350 shipped is what it cost me to Cincinnati, OH |
