Post up your experience of any damage as a result of riding with skirts in the snow. I know its not very smart if they are molded, but what if they aren't? This is not a thread about what you have "heard" but its what you have either experienced on your car or know of first hand on someone elses car. Our winters are pretty mild here and we have about 3 or 4 snow falls per year with any measurable accumulation.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
