I would liek to begin by going back to 2003 when i got into a freaky acident that involved suv and the only time I got into an accident. $2300 later my car was fixed and had a beautiful paintjob and vis kit. However given the fact that my car looks like and people are jealous.. my car was broken into 3 times... finally $500 later and replacing my stereo and bolting it in from inside noone dares to touch it. So I drive for a year.. and my rear bumper starts sagging on right side. Fine.. no biggie. 2 nights ago i wanted to go to vis/cyberbestbuy sites to finally complete my bodykit with hood, fenders, skirts.. etc.. and managed to run into problem. On my way back from work some idiot cuts me off and i had to swirve to right hitting the fork curb at 50mph. My steering is now gone.. rim is bent.. rotor is just split down the middle and god knows what else is messed up over there. Anyways i pushed my car to drive 3 miles swirving all over the place with steering wheel spinning out of control like it has no tommorow.
I suspect I will spend a grand fixing it.. something that could have been applied to making my baby look better. I will update the following as I go: -new front rotors from ebay ($100) -rim-hopefully getting a new one.. cause it is under insurance warranty thing. ($ shipping it out on monday) So I was wondering.. is not there someone out there who could ease my pain by taking upcoming $$$$ bill off my shoulders.... Aren't there grants available for Toyota enthusiasts.. all i need is like 1G. Sigh All my hopes are now shattered. Update: THE CAR IS FIXED AND IT COST ME $950.00 This post has been edited by yarik83: Feb 3, 2005 - 12:37 AM -------------------- Captain Pessimist
