A year ago I lowered my car by fitting PI lowering springs. The supplier said it would lower my car by 40mm but I think this was more than 50mm at the end when the springs settled in.

At the time I had left the standard shocks in. I experienced various problems with thes springs: the front just bottomed up all the time and the rears made a mettalic noise on the smallest pump. So at the end I decided to go back to stock springs.

Two months ago I bought a set of dropzone coilover kit togehter with new front Koni adjustables. I fitted these but I am still not happy. I fitted the rear and removed them immediately (they are dangerously pumpy) on stock shocks. The front is not that bumpy when the shocks are set firmer but they make terrible noises on bumps and the springs seem to keep on turning on their seatings when I turn the wheels resulting in a strange noise.

I am thinking to change these again. Should I fit the PI springs again and see if the ride is better now that I have Koni shocks or should I but a different set of springs. I will also be getting Konis for the rear.
