Hey,

The problem: My car gets too warm during the summer. Not bad, but noticable. My mechanic says my radiator has calcified or something.

What can I do? i'm going to be running my car in So Cal this fall, and in the desert areas too. I need it to be cool. Should I replace the stock radiator with another stock one? Searching old posts I hear about a Koyo radiator. Is this bigger, better, the same, cheaper, or what? Where do they sell them? Also, is there anything I can do to the thermostat? My dad suggested getting a different thermostat and a move powerful fan or something.

I might go to an oil cooler some day, but for now, I'd like to limit the work to just fixing up the current cooling system in whatever way I can. I'm looking to spend $500 max. What can I do?

also- I have no performance or engine mods of any type, and have the gt-4 hood and bumper (those should help keep it cooler, right?)
