What do u think of Infinity Reference 1240w??? Options

I am tired of my 12" Alpine type-E. Its an awsome sub but since its 125Watt's RMS and I am usually pushing close to 350Watts RMS it disturbes like a mother!!!. So right now I am choosing a sub that will cost me around 70$ each. And I found a pretty good deal on Infinity Reference 1240w. But here is a thing, since none of my friends own anything infinity I dont know if its a good sub. By looking at the specs it's a pretty good deal for the $$$. But what about reliability, sound at high volumes?

I want to get this cuz they are cheap and during summer when I make some money I want to buy another one of these put it in a dual ported box and run it with two 500RMS Kenwood amps.
