Ok so I was heading home today back on the freeway coming back from best buy and as I was driving along the highway. I saw a glimspe shot of what I thought was a piece of plastic lying on the road. So I thought hmmm its flat and is made out of plastic so I might just run it right over no harm there. So as I got closer I was like OH SHI*!!! The thing was a metal ladder, around 10ft long that some moron had dropped. I didn't have enough time to act so I swerved out of the lane and on to the grass that was in the middle of the freeway. As I got onto the grass I slowed down and the car died. I thought, OH CRAP! My oil pan probblay blew a hole when the ladder hit it or the tranny got knocked loose or something cause the car died. Then I quickly thought to myself.....
"Hmmm If I went into the grass, wouldn't some other idiot like me follow???" Then looking at the rear view mirror some idiot did follow and it was an SUV along with a truck. I was like, "Oh SHI***" Turned on the key and gassed it in the grass spinning out dirt and what not and going like a few feet down the "now and new" Grass road. So after I was clear of getting rammed by idiots who followed me or saw the ladder and went off the road. I checked my tires and oil pan and found that the stupid ladder did some damage to my front passenger tire. It chewed off some rubber from the tire, but luckly It didn't pop or get punctured, but I might need to get another alingment and tire balance, cause it was a nasty impact when the tire hit the ladder and what not. I love the Celi so much more after what happened. (The car died after I got onto the grass, cuz I didn't press down on the clutch and I was in 5th gear going less than 5MPH.) |
