I know that i shouldnt complain, because im so very luck to be where i am, have what i have, and be able to do what i do, but...

In short, my plans for graduating from graduate school this quater was dashed as my thesis was rejected. Edits and changes will need to be made, not major ones, but big enough that i wont be able to finish them by the end of the quarter on friday. So now i have to extend my graduate career into the new year, paying an extra late fee for registering in a quarter but not taking classes just so i can finish my thesis. In addition, i have no job lined up, which to me makes no sense. I am in a city littered with aerospace giants, in a time when the are supposably 'hiring like crazy.' Im willing to take entry level positions and less pay despite having (or almost) having an MS behind my name, and right now i am currently one of a hand full of people in the world that has studied the effects of coolant injection in hypersonic flow. In my head, im suppose to have my MSAA, have a great job in a field i love, living in a 2 bedroom condo with a view of the puget sound, and debating if i should buy a 60" plasma tv or getting a Mk1 MR2 while my Celi gets a 3s under its bonet with my Basset hound dog who only cares about whats next on tv. Instead im scraping by on savings in a 6 motnh lease apt, no job lined up, dog-less, scouring craigslist for free furniture, and cursing the fact that i have to still work on my thesis during the Christmas holiday. I know that plans sometimes dont work out the way you think, but sometimes, why cant they?? OK, thanks for reading the rant if you read the rant.
