So after all the problems with my swap, ive gotten a LOT of it cleaned up. ive been @ 9psi for over a month, and its running pretty good. im really happy with it now.
Walbro 255 Fuel pump and brand new fuel filter. changed oil twice. fixed my IC pipes cuz they were causing crazy boost leaks. fixed the gap on my plugs to .031 they were at like .04. got my boost guage working. there was a huge kink in the line. next on the list is to get the exhaust fixed/finished. huge exhaust leak where the DP meets the midpipe, you cant even hear anything from the muffler of the car, all the exhaust comes out the bottom of the DP pretty much. it gets the engine really hot, and i've read about the problem that occurs when the temps are too high and the ECU retards timing and really bogs the car down...well that happens a lot if i get stopped at lights. any way to prevent that other than fixing my exhaust? anyway, the car pulls very strong. full boost (9psi) just under 3k rpm. aside from the occaisional bogging (from the heat im sure) its perfect, got rid of the stahling too. what would be most important to do next? 1. fix exhaust 2. replace ignition stuff 3. ?? 4. up the boost |
