 Invader Front Bumper, How to keep the reinforcment |

I posted on the celica.net forums but never got a really clear answer. Is there anyone on here that has the veilside/invader front bumper that has kept thier front reinforcment, and if so what did you do. Some suggested shaving the kit and another said shave the reinforcment. Anyone tried either or have a better suggestion?
