Me and Nader are like the Coomer and Nat of Canada..lol

So, since yesterday was my last day at work, i decided to spend a bit of $ and do a few things to the car. So i bought some new PIAA foglights, some new intake piping, new cone filter, new shift knob, and im gettin a new caliper, clutch, and braided brake lines put in tomorrow. So we started off the day by pickin up my clutch and shift knob. Got home, put the clutch inside, put the knob on, no problems. So we had to rip the wiring from my old foglights out and run the new, so that ment..fun and taking off fenders. YAY..not really. So after about 40 min of fighting and sun, we get the fender off, with about 2 broken bolts. They were just rusted to the body. So we get it off, take out the headlight, etc and we are left with this

so we took all the old wiring out, and i re-did some of my shady "to-lazy-to-take-off-fender" wiring. So we get every thing taken out, no problems. Then i shifted to my air intake, so i wanted to make my air intake a full Cold-air...so i tryed to take out the air dam thats located under the fuse box on the drivers side fender support. So i was yanking and yanking and twisitng and it wouldnt come out. So me being the smart kid i am at times, decide "hey, why dont i just cut the peice thats hangin out past the fender off?" So i go grab my hack saw and start cuttin away. As im sawing i think to my self "man, wouldnt that suck if i nicked the wiring from the new fog lights, or worse, the actuall car harness", sure enough..i stop my self to take a look. and yea...im an idiot. I ended up cuttin about 6 wires clean in half and just scrapping a few up a bit. SO we ran down to the local canadian tire, bougth some weather proof butt-connectors, electrical tape and a hot dog. What? we were hungry for lunch.

So we get back to the house, sit down and start trying to clean up my mess. So after about 30 min of looking for the right set of wire strippers and crimpers, we finaly got the wiring done.

yea...i messed up nicely. So at that point i said..screw the air box, screw the CAI, lets just run the wires and be done with it. So i re-ran all the wires that needed it, cut the new peice of piping to work better with my air intake system, put in a new grommet, hooked up all the fog light connections and put every thing back.

SO i was all excited to see my new bright yellow fogs, go to hit the switch and *click*......

noting.

I forgot to piggy back a power sorce for the switch off a constant power source. So after about 4 and a half hours of work in the sun and heat, we finish. And just as we finish, it rains. fun huh?

Ill post more pics of the fog lights, knob, clutch, etc. tomorrow.
