A lot of the same questions come up every week, sometimes every day, so its about time we made a faq for them. If any of you have a question to add, or have a seen a good reply post it up here.

An excellent example is kuya's recent reply as to what the difference is between authentic veilside and the knockoff kits.

---

Q: Whats the difference between the authentic Veilside kit and the knockoff kits (shogun, invader, etc)?

A: The difference between Veilside kits as opposed to Erebuni, VIS and other companies who make knockoffs are that Veilside kits are made of fiberglass and carbon fiber, NOT polyurethane. YES, they also incorporate fiberglass in their kits, which is NOT a no no.
Fitment will always be a SMALL issue with knockoffs, but that shouldn't hinder anyone from buying a knockoff. Why? Because if you spend $2000 to $3000 on an authentic kit and get into an accident, would you be willing to dish out the money to buy a replacement? Or would you rather spend less money on a knockoff. I know I would prefer the latter.
Since Veilside uses HIGH GRADE fiberglass and carbon fiber with their kits, I don't see how it's possible for their body kits to "flex". The kits are more expensive because they are AUTHENTIC, their own design, and higher quality.
VIS and Erebuni's quality are practically the same. They both use 3 to 4 layers of fiberglass in their designs.
I'd recommend getting knockoffs because they're not that expensive to purchase and not that expensive to replace. In addition, any shop that knows what they're doing won't have problems installing these kits.

Hope you don't mind my using your post Ray. wink.gif

note: I know kuya's post doesn't make complete sense out of context. hence it being an example. editing of such content would be required before the final faq.
