Selling the system out of my Celi...

-Kicker CVR12 800W max dual voice coil, about a year old, bought new.

-Rockford Fosgate 400W punch amp (rated about 460W) 2-channel 8 AWG w/ remote knob, about 3 years old, bought new.

The sub is in a carpeted, non-ported box with the amp attached on the opposite side. I had it professionally installed, but the box turned out to be a bit larger than I was expecting for a single 12. I don't have measurements on the box right now but if there's any interest I'll get them on request.

I've been running the system at 2 ohms since I bought the new sub. This amp blew an 800W Rockford Punch HE2 dual-voice coil at 4 ohms, so it's no slouch. It has an automatic cutoff feature if it gets too hot. It will give a respectable amount of bump at 4 ohms, and at 2 ohms it's hard to believe it's just a single 12. If you keep your rear seats up at all times, you'll likely need to have it at 4 ohms to keep the amp cooled down.

I have never abused the sub nor the amp and haven't had the amp turned all the way up for any long amount of time. If you're looking for major bass all the time you will NEED a fan for this amp - that or keep your windows and rear seats down to get some airflow to the hatch or trunk. I've run it casually for the past 6 months with just enough bass to make up for my poor factory speakers.

The box has some tiny screw holes in the bottom from it being screwed down to stop from falling over, and it WILL fall over if you don't secure it. Unless you drive like my grandmother. biggrin.gif

I'd like to sell this entire system at once, but I may consider selling things separately. I won't be sending the wiring as I plan to run a 4-channel amp in the future for new components.

PM any offers to me ASAP, whether for the entire system or seperate components. If I don't receive any offers within the next week, I'll likely be sticking it on ebay.
