So I/we (as in the girl friend too) ended up with a new car or i should say truck. sorry to say the celica still does not run but deff. has not been sold I just keep stackin em up. Currently a total of 5 and a half cars between the 2 of us.)
this one has a interesting and cool history, and is our first vehicle bought together.

The history is that my girlfriend and her dad built this truck from the groud up a few years ago then had to sell it. We bought it back from the same guy who has done a few things to it but mainly let it sit. Its a 77' Ford 3/4 ton chassis with a 77' F150 custom cab and long bed, featuring a 400 ci V8 I belive from a 77' F350? its in ok shape for its age but its our project truck as my celica is the project car. one for on road fun and one for off-road fun. It runs good and has plenty of towing capasity (to drag the celica around to races and shows etc once i get it running again) My girl was crazy about getting it again as she use to drive it all the time, and it saves us a ton of work fixing up her other truck, a 79' Ford 1/2 ton with a 351 thats now for sale allong with the 3/4 ton chassis and a 390 we have for it. Its far from the prettyest looking truck but its got plenty potential. Plans were to get as much of it sanded down as posible last weekend but rain canceled that. the idea is that once its all fixed up and pritty with a maching car trailer, and the celica is all fixed up and runs, we can hit the races and shows.

--- And to save an extra thread the subaru got new stoppers smile.gif ....
