I'm getting an Ipod for Christmas and it'd be really nice if I could integrate it into my audio system. The problem is that my head unit (Eclipse CD 3434) doesn't have an auxiliary input and there's no adapter to change the cd changer input to aux that will work or that I know of. A FM modulator is out of the question. I don't want to murder my music quality. Also an Ipod compatible head unit is out of the question (lack of money). I'm wondering if it would be possible to get an equilizer and connect the Ipod directly to that bypassing any head unit to send the signal to my amp (eventually amps).
Simplified: Ipod -> Equilizer -> Amps Will it work? I know I'll need to do something for the remote wire for the amps, but I think I've found a solution for that. |
