When I purchased my car, about a year ago, I was told that the coilovers on the car were Ground Controls. Last week I started hearing strange clunking noises coming from the drivers side of my front suspension, so I went ahead and checked out what the problem was. I'm sad to say that at that point nothing looked out of place, everything functioned properly. I let a week go by. Yesterday I heard a really nasty sound after going over a speed bump at normal speed... after checking out the situation, my spring was broken. Springs should never break unless they've been on the track or the shocks have been gone for a long time. When I took a flashlight to the brand, I confirmed my beliefs that the springs couldn't possibly be from a ground controls set. Dropzone springs... why cheap out on something so important?

WHY?!

I'm waiting on an order to come in, I replaced my rear shocks about 6 months ago, hopefully they're not too bad. In the mail should be:

Tanabe DF210 Springs
2 Front KYB GR-2 Struts

Hopefully after the install, I should be riding a lot smoother. To think that I thought I had ground controls on my car... Hahaha...
